Last weekend I sailed in the Round the Bay Race in Michigan and Ohio.
I still have not finished my F14 project yet, so sailed the Wave with a Hooter (needs more sail area, however)

At any rate, I had no problem winning the high dpn class, but was totally surprised to be first overall for all classes.
On the other hand, I know why. The handicap if bases on time on time. And the entire fleet sat in no wind for about three or four hours. All that time clicking away was just helping me.
The wind picked up for the finish of the last 15 miles or so, and all the boats were not that far ahead at the finish.
So, a victory for the little boats. Outrageous, huh? <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />
