I've read Rick's book twice now. It's great, but I had the incredible fortune to go to one of his Sailing seminars where he fills in the knowledge gaps, and answers the specific questions YOU have which might not be explained for each individual's boat or situation in the book. Was the best sailing instruction and experience anyone could dream of. Would have taken me 4 or 5 years to MAYBE get to the performance level I've achieved in the few months since his Seminar. Buy the book, or any other, but you can't learn to sail from a book and get nearly as much out of it as you can by attending one of the seminars. Thanks again Rick, has made all the difference.
