Yep, all sailed as one class - good close racing with frequent lead changes as the results show and really good fun. Both configs demonstrated small advantages over the other on particular legs/wind levels but it seemed to even out and come down to strategy and boat handling/lack of mistakes.

Just to underline that statement, going into the last race any one of 3 boats could have won. Two sloops, one uni. In the end though none of the three contenders finished that race - I DNF'd after hitting a submerged log or similar and destroying my port centreboard case. Dave Tugwell DNF'd due to an unwell crew and Gary capsized in the surf and got into a few difficulties when it turned out that his mast wasn't air/watertight.
