My Name is Dave. When I was on leave last year I purchased a Hobie 17 from a guy at Fort Rucker and put it into storage. He knew very little about the boat or the setup and I know even less. I have quite a bit of sailing experience in mono hulls but none in multi hulls. As the boat came with no owners manual I will be just guessing about the setup and tuning of the rig. I will be returning from overseas this September and would like to sail it ASAP.
