We'll as always, there is alot of nodding going around but hardly anyone raises his or her hand to do some volunteer work. I said from the beginning that I wasn't going to do everything by myself. If the cat sailors don't value a new rating system enough then let them suffer the old system till the end of times.

Of course the New Texel 2005 system looks remarkably similar in the mods that I made in NMBR. With this new development I gave it a long hard thought and said :

Well Texel has far more prestige than NMBR has at this time and most of the issues were adressed in Texel 2005 in one way or another. Maybe it is best to strike a compromise and continue with Texel 2005.

I'm going sailing and enjoy myself. Hell in comparison to F18's (dominant fleet overhere anyway) I need no handicap ratings anyway. So why would I be the one to shoulder such a project. NMBR is open source so if anybody else wants to run with it, then that is fine.

With me out, the whole thing sort of fell flat.
