Re. Swiftcord wear...I've had it on my Tornado spin sheets for over 3 years and yes, visibly it appears worn where it runs through the rachets...but in my opinion this is just the fuzz tufts that have been shaved down...the main fibre bundles are all there and working great after all this time. I like it so much I now have it on the main sheet (3/8") and it runs through the 9:1 57mm carbo blocks like nothing else I've used. Only issue I have is that it sticks very well to my drysuit velcro on the sleeve cuffs...can't quite let the line go sometimes :-)

They now have a new version of this line with a core that's supposed to be better for holding in cleats.

I just switched to Flightline 1/4" for my spinny halyard...great stuff and very light. I stripped the cover off & buried its end for the section from sail head to just before the halyard cleat...to reduce windage/weight.

I'd like to have Flightline line in 3/16" for this use...does anyone know if it's available or planned to be?

Mike.
