Come join us in tropical paradise between the 17th Feb and 25th Feb 2007

Formula 18 catamarans, the fastest-growing sailing class in the world, with over 15 different nations, with up to 160 entries, Olympic, world and national past champions with one passion to be the next world champion.

For the first time this event will be held outside of Europe, and we have the pleasure of presenting to you the Australian 2007 F-18 world championships, Yeppoon, Queensland.

The event headquarters nestled amongst 22,000 acres of sprawling tropical landscape is Rydges four-star resort. With 280 rooms, 9 conference venues, a choice of restaurants and bars, with one of the largest freshwater swimming pools in the South Pacific and many activities on offer from tennis, volleyball, lawn bowls to two championship golf courses, or treat yourself at the Day Spa. This venue can cater to your needs, from a fierce competitor to those after a relaxing holiday or a place to party.

Australians take for granted the many beautiful locations this country has to offer, and this is no exception. Just a one-hour flight north of Brisbane in Sunny Queensland there is a small coastal town called Yeppoon, a gateway to the Great Barrier Reef and surrounding tropical islands that protect Keppel Bay, a large area of open water that will be the host to over a hundred racing catamarans, the event is to be held by the Australian Formnula 18 Catamaran Association with the assistance of Keppel Bay Sailing Club, on the shores adjacent to Rydges Resort.

We are offering you to join us to be part of not a sailing regatta and even more than a championship, ”an event” the 2007 f18 World Championship.
