I read somewhere...thinking this forum, and wrote it down. This gentleman had been present at all or most US National weigh-ins and reported/recorded these "generalities" regarding H16 weight vs. years.

'83& pre 360 or more
'84-'85 320 (redline)
'86-'87 340
'88-'92 less than 385
'93& post 320

I don't recall his reasoning on '88 thru '92 boats.
