my jib leads are adjustable for and aft. However, when i sheet in they slide inwards and then slide outwards. This is because there is a slot parrallel to the beams, so they are allowed to do it. The wire is losse enough to allow them to do that. I dont think they are loose enough to elevate ten inches above the tramp, that's alot. They are loose enough to allow them to slide inwards and out, not forward and aft. Shoud i replace it with cordage? should i shorten the wire and then tie it with cordage on one end to really tighten it? what else?
