WHY THE RACE WAS SCHEDULED FOR THE MIDDLE OF THE WEEK!!!! (Tuesday through Friday)

Would it be smarter to schedule it over weekend that way I and probably many more people would join? My vacation timetable has been already planed and there is no room for additional 4 days off.

If you want I keep my N6.0 in Evanston, IL we can get together and “curt some waves” there is even race course set up. I have been asking other sailors if they race but I can not find anyone. I know people in Michigan and Wisconsin race but I’m too lazy to set up my boat every time I go sailing. I like it on the beach where is at.
