Rhino, The Hobie races in California exclude any non-hobies from participating...that's why you don't see any other F18s racing.
Contrary to popular belief, there are catamaran regattas in Northern California which are not Hobie-only. I should know, I've been to six of them so far this year. Sometimes we see Hobies Tigers at these regattas.
Sadly, I never have seen a non-Hobie F18 at a regatta, which means that it's rather unlikely that there is one that races in the area.
