I haven't forgotten your request. It's just taken more time than I thought to get the source details. My contact informs me that it is 25 mm dia. high tensile drawn alloy mill finish. It's something you don't usually find at Bunnings but hey, they could have got a special order from somewhere and had surplus they wanted to unload.

I'll keep perservering.
