Personally, I think for a 90' boat with wheels, good sails, and no delam of the hulls, you really got a good deal. Just be sure to re-check your hulls to make sure they weren't repaired, and make sure to have some spare pins and shackles just in case the boat is missing some. When I bought my boat used, the rudders looked as if they had barely survived a high impact landing, and the castings were cracked, so I would also reccomend checking that out. Other than that, it seems to me like you got a good deal for a nice boat. The 16 is a great boat to learn on, so get a feel for cat sailing on it then up to the S27. Welcome to the family
