From what I've heard there were a LOT of Mosquitos in QLD.
My old boat "Whiteside Express" is a QLD boat (I still have it). I've met a few QLD Taipan sailors at the Wildcat Regatta who are all ex-Mosquito men.

There must be Mosquitos around. You just have to find them. The Taipan sailors in your area may know of some.
