What are people's thoughts..... I believe 10:1 to be overkill. We use 8:1 on the Capricorn and used likewise on the Tornado which had slightly higher loads. Both boats 8:1 seemed sufficient.

Would 10:1 loose a lot of feel and reduce reaction time. Also give you far too much extra mainsheet on deck. The system also would be a lot heavier too.
