*2007 Tradewinds to be the Best Ever – The Event of the Year
This year there are a lot of changes to an already great venue:
1) We are back to our original venue at Founders Park in Islamorada, once the Plantation Yacht Harbor Resort.
2) Big beautiful beach on a quiet cove for launching.
3) Open body of water on the Bay Side, with crystal-clear water, good air and flat seas
4) During a mini off season in the Keys with lots of Mom-N-Pop Motels and big ones too.., should be good rates.
5) Lots of great restaurants, bars, shops, and entertainment.
6) The event will the NA F18 Midwinters, Harken Buoy Series, Wave Nationals Series, Shark Midwinters
7) Thanks to a great effort by Barb Short she not only landed this great venue, she managed to get a bunch of advertising money -- we are running ads in Sailing World, Multihulls Magazine, Hobie Hotline, Catamaran Sailor Magazine,
www.thebeachcats.com, and catsailor.com. This might just bring a lot of boats out of the woodwork -- think about.., more boats for YOU to beat.
