That quote may be a little misleading. I finished first overall in only the 1st and 3rd race. I finished 3rd overall (I beleive) in the 2nd race. I was first in each race of the blue team.

I must also say that on a few occasions I was helped valuably by the other blue sailors.

We had 5 pure F16 sailors in the team

A little bit of an overdose of Blade owners I'm afraid, as I was the only non-Blade owner. Hopefully a few UK sailors can join us next time to even things up a bit. Maybe the Stealth performs better then the Blade on the computer screen as well ! <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> (=joke)

The other team member was Mick, a RS800 (monohull skiff) sailor from the UK, ranked 20th in tacticat. I think that is a good turn-out for a small class like ours. We need not be ashamed of our loss. There were some good tacticat sailors in the opposing team like :

Wundaboy : right now ranked 2 in tacticat listing
Can_349 : right now ranked 3 in tacticat listing
Guasa : right now ranked 5 in tacticat listing
Windvane : right now ranked 7 in tacticat listing
Hobiecat : right now ranked 9 in tacticat listing

And 2 others I can't remember


Pretty much the 20th-30th fleet in ranking took on the top 10th ranked sailors. I also think we missed Robi (ranked 8th) and Aquata (ranked 16th).

I'm pretty satisfied with the result and I enjoyed myself.

So I will be there next time, I hope the rest of the team has the same feelings about it.
