Agreed it is not properly laced, but it made me think of what it would be like if the third piece was attached to the front crossbeam and the tramp was laced to it? One benefit would be that the main sheet wouldn't fall through, but that could be easily solved in other ways. A problem would be that the skipper would lose the rear lacing as a place to dig in a heel when flying a hull and not in the trapeze. Thoughts anyone?
