I would be nice if we could persuade, induce, seduce, bribe, or blackmail Vanguard into developing and producing a mini-cat like that for the younger kids. That's the company that has the "in" with all the yacht club programs and with US Sailing and ISAF.

Still I think such a design is best develloped by a bunch of amateurs and after the concept has been proven then Vanguard can be considered in producing it. It is left up to vanguard from the start then I'm sure that they will ruin it by trying to make it into something that it is really not, a more stable monohull with a dinghy rig.
