JC posted that the factory splice on the stock sheet failed. He's now using his own mainsheet. Dunno why he didn't put it on to begin with, as he took a lot of his own gear down with him with that intent.

Anyway - not something you'd expect to fail. They said they would have limped around the course and finished if they'd known racing would be cancelled, but they ran for the beach to make a repair instead.
