G'day Mate.
If they have room for you Akarana its the place to be for your type of boat. If you join the club and say you're going to be racing they'll find a spot.
With regards to a trailer some of the F18 guys should be able to help you out. The Hobie Tiger on the right as you walk into the boat park (not the one marked eat-sleep-sail, which is my old boat) is owned by Mark who also has a Hobie 16. He has been known to use the 16 trailer to move his Tiger. He's a really nice guy and I'm sure he'll be happy to help you. Alternately talk to Jono and Steve on Sony Ericson (Nacra), they don't have a trailer but the previous owner of their boat does and they have access to it. The third alternative is Simon, he has the A cat near the toilet block and an elliot 5.9. Simon uses a modified Tornado trailer for his A, but he doesn't store the boat on it so it might be available too. There are some big sheds at the end of RAYC in which we assembled our boat when it arrived, there is no harm in asking if you can use them. Go into the club and talk to Penny about what you're after, she should be able to give you contact numbers for the guys. If you don't have any luck ask for my old crew Matt Woodley, he doesn't have a trailer but I'm sure he'll do his best to sort you out.
I hope this is helpfull but as I now live in Aus, its the best I can do.
Oh yea, I used to post as Scarecrow.
Regards
Tuck.
