Posts: 1,152 tampa, fl | Bad news to report but maybe some Florida area sailors can keep an eye out for me. This evening I went to my boat which is stored at the Davis Island Yacht Club in Tampa to put the mast back up in preparation for some upcoming club races and discovered that my mainsheet (green) an blocks, bridle wires, and both rudders and tiller assemblies were stolen from my I-20. The parts were on the trampoline but under a cover in a locked yard. The thieves left behind the boom, spinnaker pole assembly, spin sheets, tiller cross bar, and tiller extension. Fortunately all sails and the daggerboards were not on the boat. If anyone should see these parts for sale anywhere, please let me know. I have informed the police and my insurance co. Hopefully if the parts are not recovered, the insurance co. will come through.

Posts: 1,253 Columbia South Carolina, USA | I'll look for yours, you watch out for my 8:1 blocks with yellow Dynnema tapered mainsheet. They were stolen off my boat last August. I still am thinking local, to fix up some old clunker, but maybe there is a market out there we are unaware of.

I'd rather give them a swift kick to the nuts...

I'd rather give them a swift kick to the nuts... My preference is a punch to the throat or a kick to the junk. Rob V.

Unregistered | Put some screen wire hooked up to a electric fence transformer under boat. &(*&(* should get a good hit next time he tries to steel something.
