In another photo, BK is already on the hull getting ready to right the boat and THE CHUCK is still laying on the jib! Rumor has it that BK righted the boat whhile THE CHUCK slid down the jib into "perfect" position to tidy up the deck before BK climbed aborad! USA 777

BrianK addict Joined: May 2004 Posts: 503	Rumor incorrect, Chuck came around and helped right the boat with me. This was a case of being "too careful" rounding A-Mark. I stayed out on the wire too long during the rounding and while coming in rounded up a bit in a puff and pitchpoled. BTW, we were 3rd in B Fleet on the last rounding when this happened. Got the boat up REAL quick and still finished 3rd to get into A Fleet, were we managed to stay for the rest of the week. Never give up!

BrianK addict Joined: May 2004 Posts: 503	I was holding onto the hull, stepped onto still cleated mainsheet, then around back crossbeam. Chuck is on the jib, not the main, he was up front raising the spin and went forward.
