That photo just might make the "Ask Dr. Crash" section of Sailing World.

No doubt! Roy! Send it to 'em! It's too bad you couldn't possibly explain THE Chuck in less than 1200 words.
And thats only the intro. Explaining The Chuck would be like trying to figure out PIE. Infinite words. <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Rolf,

Don't ask ... it'll take Robi "infinite words" to explain it <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Couldn't help but re-visit the Alter photo's and noticed this sequence...

...did the skipper finish the race with (or without) crew?

There have been a few times that I didn't realize my crew went overboard and just kept sailing for a few seconds.

It has happened when I was looking forward or at another boat nearby. They then lost thier footing and just kinda disappeared. It was only for a few seconds that I didn;t know they were there.
