Andinista how is the cat sailing down there? How many cats are in the area? Is there a regatta schedule or any regattas at all?
It is concentrated near Santiago, lake Rapel, Aculeo, Vichuquén, probably Algarrobo in the ocean (I don´t go there often). I lived in the south until four years ago and it was very rare to see other cats (not the same for monohulls). In Rapel (I moved the cat there this year), there are more cats, P19s, some newer Nacras, many P16s and P18s, and Nacra 5.0 and 5.7., H16s and H17s too, and other Hobies. This weekend were the Nationals in Vichuquén http://www.regatasvichuquen.cl/page41/page41.html http://www.regatasvichuquen.cl/page6/page29/page29.html I don´t know what happed with www.catamaranes.cl, the cat sailing website, it seems like they didn´t pay the bill... Well, that´s just very general info, I am a recreational sailor and, as I said, I was far from where cat action is. I believe Argentinos are good in Tornado. We have a good Lightning crew, 5 times world champions.

My flagship, Flight Risk, a custom built 24 footer, 14' beam, 36' wing mast, asymetrical daggerboards(have to switch 'em every tack), canted hulls, EP square top main, self tacking blade jib, and chute(will get a snuffer this coming season), and Smyth screecher. 750 lbs rigged. Resides on a marine railway and dominates Flathead Lake in NW Montana. Also have a Boyer MKIII and a recently acquired Bim F18HT in case it blows closer to home (Spokane, WA). Do I have a great wife or what?

Hobie's new stealth cloth. Some of the 16 guys have been getting away with this for some time. <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

After watching Lionel Messi play, I realize I need to sail harder.
