Posts: 254 Gower, Wales, UK | Hi, USSA returns. I've added a 'plug-in' to Sailwave that makes sending results to USSA a breeze. By running the plug-in (one click) it generates a HTML page as an attachment to an email pre-addressed to Darline. It allows you to add comments etc and forces inclusion of averege wind speed (as opposed to the wind speed index used for the results) as required. The HTML generated is 'primitive' (no style sheets etc) so that it's no problem for USSA to import to Excel etc. This will be available in Sailwave v1.46 which is due for beta release shortly. We run a mailing list system to keep people informed of changes, so if you're interested and would like up-to-date info, please join our mailing list... Apologies for the commercial sounding message, but Sailwave is free, so hopefully this is OK. Regards, Colin Jenkins www.sailwave.com | | | Re: Sending handicap results to USSA

Like you weren't already doing enough for the sport! This should make the pulling of teeth nearly painless! Sheesh - Colin "What-if-we-sliced-the-bread-first" Jenkins...
Thanks, from a devoted Sailwave user.

Posts: 254 Gower, Wales, UK | Hi John, > pulling of teeth Sometimes I can hear the screams up here in my attic... :-) Thanks for using Sailwave and your support. I have to say that this is forum is a great place to get ideas from; if only us (mainly) reserved Brits could talk as plainly as you (mainly) US folk do; we have a UK cat sailor forum but you can count the posts on one hand... Must go; the nurses are waiting... Regards, Colin J www.sailwave.com | | | Re: Sending handicap results to USSA

Posts: 273 Key Largo, FL | Many thanks, Colin, for that added feature to Sailwave. I'm sure Darline will love it. Most of us are very lax about getting results to her.
Sailwave is absolutely the greatest scoring program! I think we have convinced our local sailing club to use it for the Sunfish North American Masters Championship they are hosting in the spring. Some of the race committee came to help out with our Hobie Wave Nationals and check out Sailwave, and they were very impressed!
