Well deserved!

Just the amount of work she puts in to get race results in order to generate the Portmouth numbers is amazing.

US SAILOR Of The Week
Darline Hobock

Darline Hobock Darline Hobock has lived in Tulsa, OK, most of her life and came upon a seemingly unusual sport for the area a number of years ago. “When I went on my first sailboat ride, it was something that really struck me, so I made a place in my life for sailing.” She began sailing a Thistle, graduated to a Santana 525 and now owns a J/24. And the rest is history. Darline is past commodore of the Central States Sailing Association and sails on Keystone Lake where she is a member of the Windycrest Sailing Club, which has maintained a consistent membership of about 250 families since it was formed in 1965. During her term as commodore, Darline helped form the national multihull council as a way to support her friends who were multihull sailors. She has also been involved in helping to organize the national U.S. Multihull Championship for the Alter Cup. In 2003, US SAILING recognized Darline’s long-term commitment as a national and local volunteer by presenting her with the C.R.E.W. award. More than 30 years ago, she began volunteering for offshore's Portsmouth Numbers committee and is still involved. She is known for making an extra effort while all the time being tactful, honest and constructive. With her passion and commitment, Darline is a sailor making a difference.
