This thread if fully cracking me up. Keep em coming boys!

I especially like the "what makes a Nacra 20 great" thing. It's so new and refreshing. Glass from sand.

Seriously I see no gloom and doom for the 20. Obviously, this board is dominated by the hardcore 20 guys. Cat sailing is not dead either. There are youth programs like Miami Yach Club etc. It's just never going to be mainstream. Live with it and embrace the special thing you do on the weekends or when the wind's up. Those who love the feeling will come, even if they have chicken legs and a f'd up grill.

You ought to try beaching a Stiletto 27! You don't have to pull it up as far. :-)

Q pasa bro?

Butt, what is the difference as far as pushing the boat in moderate weather? Is there a smaller window for the pitch factor? Is the 18 twitchyer on the edge? (is that a word?)

I have consulted with the Performance Improvement department and ran it past QA, IT, SMLG, FOG, Skunkworks and the guys in the kitchen: they all agree... sell your boats and buy an ARC21.

Hey- I know where the CFR20 plugs are stored. This light boat always looked terrific to me, especially when I could lift the boat off the ground easily with ONE other guy.

The F18 can handle either but is a better lake boat.

Cut the BS please. In Europe most of the cat sailing is on open water with conditions more rough then is typical in the North American area. Hell, I do 99% of my own sailing on open water (The North Sea) using a bloody F16.

The F18 just does fine there and indeed the N20's is hard pressed to show superior performance.

I second the cut the BS call. Out of the 44 events left on this year calendar of events for F18 in France only 2 are on a lake.

Good lord, take it out of context why don't you. The statement was that the F18 could do ocean or lake as well as the N20, but was a better lake boat than the N20

NACRA 20's suck, and the people who sail them do to

I hear by, officially revoke your moniker of "power dave".

I'll leave it up to Todd to ascertain your replacement name.

On that note I expect The Moser(like a poser or loser but worse) is on the floor in the fetal position, crying like a little girl. It's OK Dave, we understand...sort of.
