We got to order a roll of shock cord for traps and lines sucked into the beams. I am used to buying this at the store and eyeballing the size - so I don't remember what size I use and can't get to the store to check it out until later today.

What size do you use? 3/16", 1/8"??

Chris.

I like 3/16's. the 1/8 does not seem to have the recoil qualities that the 3/16's has.

Agreed
and 1/8 seems to wear out to fast for my uses...

And, I uusually used 1/4". However, the 3/16 is easier to get it and out of things.

I have spools of 1/4, 3/16, and 1/8 inch. I use 1/4 inch for the trapeze, but am sure that 3/16 would work also.

Regards,
Eric

Thanks for the input everyone. We went with 3/16" (5mm). 200 ft should keep us going for a while...

Chris.

hey Chris,
You might want to check a commercial fishing supply house. The one by me sells 3/16" shockcord for about$25 a SPOOL.
