Posts: 160 North Carolina | I'll be there. So will the other tall guy from Wrightsville. I think two more 16's from Wrightsville are going, we'll see if they show up or not. I've tried to go to this thing for the last two years, so hell or high water I'm gonna be there.

Posts: 171 Cary, NC | I think I am going to try to make it out for this, should know for sure this evening. If we are not staying at the campground though is it alright to leave the boat there overnight (Fri/Sat)? My parents live up in Kill Devil Hills and I'd plan to just stay there, but bring the boat down to Camp Hatteras Friday after work.
Thanks

Thanks No problem leaving your boat overnight. There is a sailing center on the sound front that is beside the campground. The campground also has a conference center located in the same area that is used for the regatta, so it is an ideal race site. Here is a site map. http://www.lkassociates.net/0208/camphatteras/site_map.htmI'll be there on the H16, with my 9 year old daughter crewing. I had lunch with Loyd today and he'll also be there... but not sure if he's bringing his H16 or the F18. Are there any F18s going? | | | Re: Camp Hatteras Regatta/ Who's going?

Posts: 602 Wilmington,NC | I'll be there on the F18 with Mike or my super crew Renee. Where were you and your super crew this past weekend? Mike had to work and Renee does not like to sail in the blue water something about salt water or the big waves

Posts: 160 North Carolina | I'll answer for the WB guys as I know they don't check the forum as often as I do sometimes. They will all sail 1-up and so will I. So, assuming the four I know show up and you sail 1-up, that will be 6 h16's sailing 1-up including me. Enough for a class of 1-ups. Very exciting.

Posts: 3,224 Roanoke Island ,N.C. | I'll be at another regatta(High points contention for the year and I'm the Vice commodore,so...). Hate to miss it, hope y'all have a blast. Sounds like lots of 16s.Plus it sounds like I'd be the only N-20 or A cat.

Posts: 160 North Carolina | I may have to copy your plan Mark. I was planning on leaving Fri, but I wouldn't be able to get on the road until 6-7pm, and after a looooong week at work on top of that. So, I may just wake up really early as well. And a last minute thought, was there registration for this race or did I completely miss it? I assume it would be fine to register at the site. Mark, Are you still going to bring the 16 with the youngin' as crew?
