Was that directed at me? I'm confused.

Yeah, Jake,
How dumb are you ? I hope Tad Kicks your butt. crazy

Just Joking.
I'm pretty sure that was directed at Scooby Simon, a couple posts above yours. He was playing the "Americans are a bunch o' idiots" card.

Rolf,
I agree with you keep all the extraneous bile in the Drill thread.

Sorry - the "RE:Jake" clearly through me off.

Yeah Jake,

What's wrong with you. We ain't got the stinkin' time to reply to the right post. It's more like a reply to the whole thread. Just look right here, case in point. It probably says re:Undecided but here I am ranting at you. It's a funny world we type in.

Now, BACK ON TOPIC...

Eyewitness claims to have been able to see through an opening in the BMWO tent and claims to have clearly seen the leading edge of a wing propped up on craddles. He tried to take a picture with a craptastic camera phone but the tent opening too dark compared to the outside light so it doesn't show anything.

I dont quite see the relevance to wings. Take it to the hole known as "Drill, Baby, Drill part deux"

Oh, I forgot to say Hitler.

Not much patience for political discussions or even blaming today. But I would like to hear more about wings.

I think I saw a mermaid in that picture. They must be harnessing them to power the hulls under water....

interesting how the amas "float" on the forward hinge and the aft spring. Wonder how much efficiency is gained in terms of water resistance...

Judging by the pics at SA it seems to small to be a complete wing, what if its just some sort of new mast? Giant wing mast maybe?

That's one possibility. Normal spares and reconfiguration flexibility require that we see MORE parts than needed to assemble a wing, if we are to believe that they will try one.

Another possibility is that more small parts are on their way. The wing must disassemble for shipping and broken or improved parts replacement will be required. It makes sense to make it as a demountable kit. The C Class wings certainly look like demountable kits.

Lastly, they could be bluffing.

From BMWO website: "These new structures will be used in future modifications to the giant trimaran"

"Boat parts", or parts for the facility?
