Posts: 439 Memphis, TN | I don't think they are painted. The gel coat is probably that thin. I've done the same thing and just used some stuff on it to fix it. I can't remember the name of it though.  I fixed it at somebody else's house who had the stuff. Mike

Posts: 606 Maryland | It seems to be a trend of shooting very thin gel coat on carbon daggers. Same holds true on the Falcon issued daggers. It is not as important as covering the glass on the hulls.
