No I believe The Tool is built in Australia by Wayne Mercer.

I don't think there is any connection with AHPC (though I vaguely remember reading somewhere that he may have worked for them at some point - but I stand to be corrected).

A guy in our club has just brought Steve Brewin's tool, (current aust champ boat) I would take it for a spin but it's just too cold at the moment.. I haven't seen it in the flesh yet, but its here now.
