Unregistered | I got to sail a rental wave up in OC NJ two weekends ago with my cousin. The guy had an asymmetrical chute for it. I pitchpoled that bad boy three times while it was blowing 20 knots. Lots of fun and I got my cousin digging sailing. asymmetrical chute? is that what they call beach umbrella's on a wave these days? ![smile smile](/forum/images/graemlins/default/smile.gif) | | | Re: My Wave Impressions

Unregistered | i am sure they can be fun.. its cat sailing! I have had fun on plastic windriders in heavy air... (but i wouldn't buy one). i bet the real fun is watching the tall n20 guys pitchpole "through the air, with the greatest of ease" ![smile smile](/forum/images/graemlins/default/smile.gif) | | | Re: My Wave Impressions

Posts: 921 Alachua, FL | Hi Mugrace,
My Wave has a main and a jib. I turn downwind gently until the Jib moves over to the other side but the Mainsail stays on the other side. I have to be careful not to turn too far otherwise I end up Jybing.
Regards, Tim OK now that makes sense. Actually, mine came with a jib but I have never used it. I should give it a try.
