Next year could you schedule this for a Saturday Night??? After driving +2hrs back through Philly from working in North Jersey, I just couldn't drive south another additional +2hrs to Annapolis ... party ... and then drive +2hrs back north ....
But I would like to come down and see everyone ... just can't do it on a Friday night ....
What were y'all doing at a gay bar? Rams Head was closed, huh?

Had to add some punctuation for you, I know how much of a stickler(no pun intended)your type is about stuff like that.

If you put half as much effort into racing your cat as you do trying to be snarky you might have something. But ,then again you fail miserably at both, so maybe not.

Make yourself useful: I'm changing my single line spin halyard to a two line system. How far up the mast should I mount the block?
Put it all the way at the top. Bigger is better.
Seriously, you shouldn't need to move anything.

Not that I'm even close to an "expert" opinion (or even "half-a$$") here, but I have noticed that trying to hoist the spin from the wire works better with the beam mounted cleat/spinlock (on a swivel) better than a mast mounted cleat.
But I see the trend is for the driver to stay on the wire while the crew faceplants/hoists the spin from the front beam on the trampoline...
Is there a reason (now that most people run all the control lines to the crew's trap hook) the crew couldn't stay out and hoist (and adjust downhaul, rotator, and possibly hoist the windward board)? Probably wouldn't even have to come off-wire to grab the spin sheet, either...
It seemed a bit easier the few times in light/moderate (single trap) air when I did try it..we left the boards down for that day, anyway...
Also see about 6:15 in this video. It seems you put it where you get the best leverage for your position. Spin hoist
Same vid. By the way thanks for posting those. I wish more seminar/chalk talks would get recorded and posted. It would be a big help to everyone.
