Jack Kartz! You out there?

What did you recommend to texture gel coat for non-skid? Can't remember.

I think it was. A roller like the ones that come with a do it yourself bedliner kit. Look like a scotch pad.

I'm boatless.

coffee sugar crystal..not the fine but the larger crystals a few mm across.. Sprinkle across the wet gelcoat/paint/varnish. The large crystals make a nice rough but not cutting surface. The was off later when the coat is dried.. (old skiffies trick)

Or coarse salt (like Kosher or Sea Salt). Does the same thing and the ants won't swarm your boat while you're letting the gelcoat set. Don't ask me how I know.... smile

I do prefer "sugar deck" though....
