I hope for their sake that forecast is wrong. The pics up until yesterday looked like really nice breeze.
Globaltech facebook page has very good updates. One of the Oman team is on the way to the hospital after slicing his hand on a broken tiller extension .
Kattack should definitely go with names. A bunch of the sail numbers are incomplete or wrong, but it seems they're trying to solve the problems. They are responsive to questions on facebook. It's alot to sort out just to make us, non-racers, happy. Kudos to them.

Early it was light to moderate. The last race filled in to about 10 - 12. already some broken boats and black flags.

I'm not Facebook so I can't ask them directly, but what about all boats a light gray color & no "tag", and if you select a boat to pay attention to, it is given a color and a "tag" (sail # or skipper name). That might make it easier to track your interests, while still seeing how they are doing amidst the rest of the fleet?

Pretty good little player. Can I add wind strength/direction overlay or would that be way too data intensive?

The tracker is up but it looks that it is working worse than yesterday.

Ding, you're 242, right? Why can't I find your boat on the list? What fleet color?

fleets change daily and we don't get the till the morning.
Wind was on today and there is some carnage. I'm tired later.

Yesterday was three more races, first one in about 8 knots, but it quickly built over the next two races to 15-18. We had a tough day but managed to hold on to a spot in the gold fleet. Qualifying races are done, so the next three days will be raced in gold and silver fleets.

Congrats to the 20 US teams that made the gold fleet.... It's a tough crowd!

So nice to see that they got some great conditions.

Any chatter around the club about what's going on with the kattack tracking? It's clearly not performing as well as we saw from Hyannis last year. I tuned in again today to see if it was better, but really can't even tell for sure that boats are racing.
