The foiling Stiletto X-series is nearing production with 2016 spent in preparation of the factory site, design and production development.

Stiletto's goal with the new X-Series is to once again realize the popularity that Hobie Cats brought to sailing.

Stiletto-X will be fast, beachable, easily trailerable, and affordable with over 540 sq ft. of dry deck space for a large crew of family and friends. It should provide the sailing world a product with widespread appeal and versatility,, and has been a step by step process, not without some sweat and tears.

Stiletto Manufacturing, Inc. issued a private equity offering on late October this year, and reports initial success selling 30% in just the first six weeks, to help fund this mammoth project.

Now, in the last week of 2016, Stiletto’s team are working round the clock to get the Stiletto-Xc001 prototype on the water for the New Year! This has included Randy Reynolds, designer of the Reynolds 33 and many others well experienced in the world of sailing and catamarans.

In 2017, the dream should becomes reality, as the Stiletto-X becomes avaialable for outdoor adventures in sailing, which now includes the sale of many pre-production boats and more sold on the bais of a sea trial.

I hope to be one of those sailing for the first time on the Stiletto as it splashes later in the new year.

can't wait to see more sailing vids of it.

I know they restore Stilettos in North Port(?), FL. Are they building the foiler there, as well? Would be my best opportunity to see one up close...
