I put up a short synopsis at http://www.velocitysailing.com/news.htm

Basically light wind Friday and Saturday morning, and then all of a sudden the breeze kicked in.

Sunday was cold and raining and foggy. Was pretty cool seeing the white and smoked sails come out of the fog lines. We couldn't see the C mark from the A it was so bad. But it was fun (albeit cold) racing. I came in and Mary was like "You did NOT go out there in just shorts did you?"

Couple of collisions, one TheMightyHobie18 was holed. Looked like an F18 had its bows split open or something, I just saw the duct tape on the bows so I'm not to sure about that.

Fun party of course. Great food. Had a GREAT time.

How long does it usually take for the pics of Spring Fever to get posted on the web?

Pics are coming very soon. The sport photographer with the Hartwell Sun Newspaper got some terrific shots (over 2.1G of photos!). He has some of them on the web and Mr. Ernie should be linking to them shortly. Team Seacats will have a regatta report uploaded probably sometime tonight with some of these photos.

I know where a lot more are - but I don't have permission to link them! Ernie should have links up at the Spring Fever site very soon. This photo was taken by Jeremy King of the Hartwell Sun Newspaper.

Hey Jake

I guess you were thinking "I wish Chris would let a little main sheet out". It was funny how you would not have any wind then a big gust would come through. The things sailors will do to get a photo.

Race report and some of Jeremy King's (Hartwell Sun Newspaper) photos are now up at www.teamseacats.com. Choose "Race Reports" and then the "2005 Spring Fever".

Hey Jake, after following your links, I noticed this
"Both Team SEACATS F18's arrived in Hartwell GA by Thursday April 24th to do a little warm up sailing"
Did you mean March 24th?

Check it out

Wow, my name is in the paper too...there goes my 15 minutes of fame. That is a great picture Jake, you oughta order that one and hang it on the wall, right next to the Nacra sign...
