I like the Polo or dress shirt idea. With some small embroidery to describe the event.

I have plenty of tshirts. I also have about 3 denim shirts from various sailing events.

Hats are always good too.

The quest is to get close enough to one (while being worn, hopefully) so that you can read the secret message. A decoder "ring" is available as well.
