I see in my current edition of Catamaran Sailor that Mary is stepping down as editor and Rick will be taking over. Thanks for all the work you did over the years Mary. It is always nice to come home from work and find a Catamaran Sailor in my mailbox.

I know it was hard for you to keep on trying to provide the communication and information over the years, and I'm quite sure we could have never done it without you. I'm sure your Dad was always proud of you continuing on his interest in sailing.

I'm sure you're going to stay involved, but thanks again for being the "glue that stuck everything together".

I've met Rick at some Regatta through the years. Hopefully, I'll get a chance to meet you and buy you a beer in appreciation.

Yes, I want to thank you too Mary. Really fine job you did with the magazine! I know writers are supposed to have "voices", but I'd never had the experience of hearing them while reading their work until you! You have created a very real presence both in the magazine, and here. I hope someday we'll meet, and I'll get to hear your voice in person.
