Posts: 192 WEST. MICH. USA | Its a mind frame that you get into. And most people who live in the north like the change of seasons. I live in MI along Lake Michigan which acts like a giant heat sink. It will stay comfortable until the beginning of December and then snow until the middle of March. People shovel driveways, go skiing, iceboating, iceskating, ice fishing, hunting and look forward to spring. I have a heated walkout basement that I can put my boats into to work on. One canoe, a pram and my Hobie 18. Plenty of time to play with the boats and avoid the tube. Beats rebuilding your house from Hurricanes. | | | Re: Snow... in October!

Posts: 157 Framingham, MA | dude, where are you? I am based out of Framingham and if you are close we are around most of the weekend if you are looking to get away from hotels and such. Nothing like a nice kayak through some resevours followed by a pot of homemade stew to get you through a cold fall day. Chris www.acceleratedchaos.com | | | Re: Snow... in October!

It got up to 70 F. here in Minnesota, today. Drinking beer in the driveway with the neighbors. Thanks for trading weather with us!
