This boat is also the prototype.... There was atleast 1 other design before the current one. I believe the boat in this pic was built by Martin Fisher in New Calidonia (under the Tropic of Capricorn) and was the first. 2 AHPC prototypes were built after that were a bit different.... These were raced around Oz for a season refining the boats before the Capricorn made its debute at the 2004 Worlds. The boat changed slightly from these upon comencement of production and changed again slightly after that particularly in the transom.... I am currently racing one of the first 2006 spec boats in Oz.

Spoke to him. He was very impressed. He previously owned a Nacra F18 and raced that one, so he can compare the two. He is very happy with his new toy after direct comparison. Maybe he will tell you guys more himself when he reads the post with his picture in it.
