I know you are all breathless to know what is going on within the Multihull Council. It is probably keeping you up at night like it does me. Seriously.

The annual Multihull Council meeting is scheduled Saturday, November 18th in Newport, Rhode Island. We will be discussing all sorts of things from what boat will be used in the Alter Cup, to getting the SL-16s into kids' hands, to Olympic spending, etc. - no kidding. Real issues that affect you, your club, your class, your fleet. Draft agendas will be available very soon (I'll post a reminder when they are), but NOW is a great time to let your Area Rep know what is important to YOU. If you're a member, tell us what you want. If you're not a member, tell us what would make you want to join.

As always, the Council meeting is open to anyone who wants to come. If your multihull club or class or fleet is a member organization of USSA, you are not just an associate member of the Council - you can be a VOTING member as well. Which is important, because the annual election of officers and half of the ExComm happens at the Fall meetings!

Say you're a Hobie 17 sailor and you want to go to the meeting - contact your HCANA representative and confirm that the class membership is paid up, get an e-mail sent designating you as the official representative of the Hobie 17 class, and cast your vote for your Area Rep, Council Chair, Bylaws changes, whatever. That simple - you can make a difference.

I'm not selling snake oil here. You want in? The door is open. <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
