I have a hole about the size of a pea in my sail--seems to possibly be from improper storage by a previous owner. (The rest of the sail is good.) Does anyone know of a trick for keeping such a hole from becoming a tear besides slapping a piece of sailing tape over it? It doesn't affect anything at the moment, but I'd hate to see it spread sometime under load.

Thanks!

If you're in Largo FL, try Doyle Ploch Sailmakers on Gandy, east of 19, right behind JSI.
Ask for Peter. 727-471-2040

What kind of sail? is it dacron, mylar, or spinnaker material?
