Sorry Simon, I dont know much about that project. If you are interested, Pablo at Ullman Scicily is the person to talk with. He is in direct competition with Landenberger, so he should be eager to expand into F-16s.

I have been in contact with Pablo and most likely I'll order from him. Got pretty decent service from him which is quite rare nowdays, he even called me to get everything sorted out for making a offer.

I remember going to a catsailing clinic a few years back and one of the guys (pro sailor/sailmaker) said they tested a transparent spi but said it was a nightmare to trim because you literally couldn't see how it was set.
He mentioned what material they used but i cant remember exactly, it was similar to the stuff that's used for packaging (bags, wrappers, etc).

yeah it looks cool <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />, but I have trimmed black spinnakers, they are hard enough to see whats going on, I agree this would be a nightmare <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> to trim, maybe telltales would help. Though you would have to have different colours on each side. <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />
