Posts: 1,037 Central California | I'm about to order a new spinnaker from Glaser [http://www.glasersails.com/formula16.htm]. If anyone else is also in need let me know; price may be better ordering four than only one.

Posts: 9,582 North-West Europe | I'm interested, but price is important to me.
Maybe we should continue this discussion in private ?

Made by Ullman Scicily.
BTW: Any action shots of the Glaser F-16 spi? Hey, that's cool. How much for an F16 one ?

Remind me. Did I reply already on your mail concerning masts ?
I think I did, but I'm not sure.
I'm chasing alot of loose ends these last days.

Wouter Wouter, I believe that you meant Gato not me <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />. Last that I've heard from him he was going to spend christmas in Belgium, so he just might be out of reach. Otherwise I believe that I would have heard about your reply if it was made. -- Valtteri | | | Re: Need a new spinnaker?

Ohh, I'm sorry.
Still you guys should decide on a mast profile before ordering sails, that is the main point of my reply.

BTW: Any action shots of the Glaser F-16 spi? I remember going to a catsailing clinic a few years back and one of the guys (pro sailor/sailmaker) said they tested a transparent spi but said it was a nightmare to trim because you literally couldn't see how it was set. He mentioned what material they used but i cant remember exactly, it was similar to the stuff that's used for packaging (bags, wrappers, etc). | | | Re: Need a new spinnaker?

Unregistered | Hi all,
yeah it looks cool <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />, but I have trimmed black spinnakers, they are hard enough to see whats going on, I agree this would be a nightmare <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> to trim, maybe telltales would help. Though you would have to have different colours on each side. <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />
Regards Gary. <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> | | |
