Posts: 185 Shanghai, China | actually the crew landed just between the bows (see blue and red) :-). I think this is how most A-cat nosediving capsizes look like. It looks more spectacular than it actually is. The A is a very light boat and slows down significantly when nosediving, it looks more spectacular so, because once the crew left the boat the burried bows developed so much lift that they push the boat up like seen on the photo of the Egner Flyer. So basically nothing so spectacular here. And remember, its not the boat which nosedives, its the helm who makes it happen! ;-)
