Hey! New space to play - and I got in first!

Thanks Rick!

Wouter, are you going to paste over the two threads from the General forum?

THANKS Rick,

I'd volunteer to paste over, but will be busy through Sunday at the Sports Show.

Can anyone get to it sooner?

I have been to other forums where posts have been moved. I would hope that with a little assistance, our forum administrators could move the applicable posts.

Sorry, the forums administrator does not know how to move a thread. And, in fact, the whole threads should not be moved.

As I said, you guys will have to start a new thread, maybe with the same name, on the F12 forum and then manually copy and paste the posts you want to transfer. There is a lot of stuff in both threads that you probably do not need or want to transfer, anyway.

And some methodical adaptation of transfer may be useful, as well as the weeding out.

For instance a post of;

Adaptation of windsurf rigs to F12.

And the "weeding" may be a debated point. Some posts that could be percieved as relevant to the future promotion or class formation may be taken as ranting, but remain worthy of future discussion.

Dear all,

This is the first task I would love to leave to another volunteer. It is simply to much work next to my other F12 activities. Also it is a nice and well defined task so delegating it will not be difficult.

So John, unless somebody objects I'll your name behind this task. This means you are responsible for the final result. If you can get others to help you then so much the better but for the project you will the representative of this task.

This is an important distinction. The guy or gal responsible for a task is not required to complete it by himself nor does he has to level with me or other volunteer groups on how to do it.

The structure I propose for all tasks is that it will be defined and then assigned to a single person being responsible for the completion on the terms agreed. From then onwards the taskgroup is free to implement it as they see fit. Last action of the task leader will be to report back to me and properly finish the task after which I shall remove it from the listing. Hopefull he or she will then choose another task of the listing and get busy with that.

I will start a seperate thread detailing this structure later tonight.

Wouter
