Sebring, Florida. | The 5.5 is strong and fast, can be sailed (raced) solo or with crew. What else you want? No, it doesn't have the bow boyancy of an Inter 18 or Inter 20, but then nothing else does either.

Panama City Beach, Florida | The Nacra 5.5sl is a great boat and fun to sail. I sailed one for years and loved it. The sail plan is not over powering so it does well in heavy air. It's a great boat for a guy and a girl or two guys who aren't too heavy----min wight is 275 for racing. It doesn't carry a lot of weight well.

| It's not too heavy for a singlehanding, just leave the jib behind, (olr furl it), and it basically becomes a 5.5uni.

Northfield,NH USA | I LOVE MINE! Either as a solo or with my 11 year old son it is great. I find it to be a great "teaching" boat for him as well.

Awsome boat - you can really drive it hard downwind, and it has a bigger slot (more forgiving) than alot of other boats. Tough and reliable, balanced sail plan, nice helm once tuned right.
