Robi, where and when are we doin' pizza? Who's in? At TW I mean.

I'll be arriving too late Thursday night, but will be around Fri. I am sure we can hook up at Founder's Park. Tback coming in Friday AM, Matt/Gina Friday PM, Robi's close - so I expect to see him at the beach Friday. I am flexible.

Pizza is not good without beer - and lots of it.

Yeah the spot is called boardwalk pizza. Best pizza in the keys. Friday night is the party.

Ill be there thursday morning, fencing off our area. I will try to save spots for three to four boats, cant guarantee anything. Tom you have my number, give me a ring when you get into town.

Have a pie ready for me Friday for lunch. I should be rolling in just after noon.

This is my kind of conversation. I am going to stay off the Open Forum. Keep getting in trouble.

I am told they are not going to allow any boats into Founders Park until Friday. If you are arriving early, you will have to keep your boat elsewhere (hotel?) until then.

I found out you're afraid of competition, which was sort of a surprise. But, if you want to continue, bring it.

It's Islamorada. What can I tell you? It is the first time they have ever hosted a sailing regatta there, so we have to do what they want this year in hopes that we can get some modifications next year.

I will have more Tradewinds information on the forums and/or on our home page in about a week.

Mary I think it is a good idea to bring up, that a few sailors are driving hundreds even thousands of miles to arrive early and only to be told we cannot park or bring the boat onto the premises.

There will be a boat traffic jam on friday. It is best if they let the people who show up early park the boats on the property and get setup. This will ease the congestion on friday.

This news is now for me a wasted day. I have reservations made for thursday, obviously all the hotels in the keys require a 15 day notice in order to do any cancellations. This is costing ME money. I am sure same applies to other sailors.

Please by all means try to convince the park management that not letting us arrive on thursday is a bad idea.

If not, I will have to show up anyway, when they ask I will inform them no one told me <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> and I will be very apologetic about showing up early <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" /> show them my Coast Guard ID <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> and get in. <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
